I am always interested to learn how someone finds my work. A few months ago an editor for the US Public Health Service emailed and asked if she could use one of my paintings for the cover of an upcoming issue. “Sure, that’s awesome.” When she told me which piece they wanted to use, I had to chuckle. The piece was painted 8 years ago in 2009, “Tomato Soup”. It was inspired by a news report about a community’s efforts to help/feed its homeless population. I asked how she even found the image – GOOGLE.
I received my printed copy last week and think it turned out well. Always flattering to have a piece published!
